THE DAILY GRIND


You grab the seat beside Tomas. The chair seems sort of uncomfortable until you realize you're sitting on Luisa, his daughter. Miffed, you perch precariously on the seat's edge, your legs jutting deeply under the table.

Funny. Your legs seem to be uncomfortable too. You peer under the table and are startled to see Angela Corelli glaring at you between your legs. She gives you a dirty look before hugging Tomas at the ankles and heaving a happy sigh. Popular guy this Tomas.

You give Tomas a friendly smile and clink his cup with yours, but he doesn't seem to notice. In fact, Tomas seems oblivious to all around him. Must be thinking some pretty heavy thoughts. You can tell his blank expression masks a dynamo brain. It'll take some brilliant dialogue to get his attention.
