THE DAILY GRIND


Tomas sips at his coffee, oblivious to anything other than its wafting steam. Suddenly he feels a bread knife under his chin and some angry words in his ear.

Nonplussed, Tomas tries to take another swallow of his drink but can't seem to open his mouth. He frowns in perplexity. Is there something wrong with his jaw? He'll have to remember to ask Dr. Hudson to check it out.

Suddenly the words in his ear become louder and angrier. Tomas frowns again. Is someone saying something to him? Sweat breaks out on his forehead as he struggles for a glimmer of enlightenment. Slowly, it dawns on him. He jerks up his head and says,

"SAY! WHAT DID MY TEACHER MEAN, I'M _SLOW_?!"

Give up and cheat already.
