Donna was once married to Carl. Their
marriage began and ended before
either of them was introduced. Only a
few of the details of the union have
been mentioned. We know that it was
a marriage of convenience and that
neither of them was really happy together.
In 1984, they reunited temporarily. The reconciliation ended because
Carl was too engrossed in his criminal doings. To still keep Donna
under his thumb, he threatened to reveal that Marley was her
illegitimate daughter, not her sister. In 1991, they shared a few kisses
when Donna was vulnerable after losing Michael.
In later years, Carl would refer to the
marriage as a romp.
