Olivia Matthews
Matt first saw Olivia on the Cory yacht during the 25th anniversary celebration in 1989. They became close friends, and supported each other in their respective relationships. When Matt dumped Josie, and Olivia felt she had lost Sam, they flirted with the idea of becoming involved. Olivia's aunt Liz was ecstatic at the idea, but they never got beyond a first kiss, which Amanda and Evan walked in on.

Hannah Moore
In 1991 Matt and Hannah caught each other's eyes, but not much else.

Zak Wilder
In 1998, Zak couldn't keep his hands off Matt. Matt was so in love with him he went into a trance every time Zak was near.
