Josie says,
"Oooooohhh, the bowling alley! The lanes, the gutters, with balls rolling by and pins tumbling, yeahhhhh...."
Josie thanks you by shoveling more hash browns onto your plate.
"Tomorrow is bowling night for the Bay City Blues. Gary and I can scope it out."
"Has Gary, errr, been busy lately?"
Josie looks at you closely, and you flash her a smile in between forkfuls of potato.
"Gary's been conducting a secret investigation. He's not even assigned to this case, you've probably heard of it, the missing Red Swan--"
"The Red Swan is missing?"
"--Yeah, the one Mac Cory gave to Rachel right before he died. And of course, Gary has to stick his nose into it."
Josie fumes for awhile before continuing.
"He's been undercover for almost a week now. I have no idea where he might be."
"There's always the chance I'll run into him in my travels. I'll be sure to tell him the good news about the bowling alley."
Josie says that if you do find him, he probably won't want to take the risk of blowing his cover by talking to you. She suggests using the word buzzcut on him.
