• New Info/Correction: Steve and Rachel's divorce was finalized on April 26, 1974. Pierrino Mascarino as D.A. Tom Albini appeared on May 8, 1974. The name of the minister who officiated Steve Frame and Alice Matthews' wedding was named Reverend Booth instead of Andrews. Lenore Moore was Alice's matron of honor. First appearance of Rick Gianese as Officer Rick Graham was July 21, 1988.
• Screen capture added of Stephen Schnetzer (Cass) and Linda Dano (Felicia) during their announcement of Brent Collins' (Wallingford, 1984-1988) death. The announcement aired at the end of the February 10, 1988 episode.

October 14, 2024:

• Sad News: Veteran actor, Nicholas Pryor who played Tom Baxter in 1964 died of cancer on October 7, 2024 at the age of 89.
• Classic synopses written for 1974 (April 1 - 19).
• New Info/Corrections: Robert Delaney and Lenore Moore's wedding took place on April 4, 1974. David Cryer appeared as Mr. Love (later to be named Reginald) on March 21, 1986. Rose Alaio (Arianne, 1989-1990) appeared as John Hudson's lover and guest on his boat on April 21, 1988. First appearance of Dennis McKiernan as Wally Curtin was April 4, 1974. Pre-fame Celebrity Appearance: Jimmy Smits as a bartender at the Plains Motel in Dry Creek, Wyoming, May 8, 1985. Thank you to AW fans Eric Skubel and Xanthe for this information.

September 4, 2024:

• Daily synopses for 1985 are now complete from January 2 - October 18. A special thank you to Sarah Cannell for allowing the AWHP to use her episode transcripts in order to write the daily synopses. Check out Sarah's insightful and detailed transcripts with amusing asides from her audio recordings. Her site currently covers September 1984 - November 1985, June - December 1986, and June - November 1987.
• New Info/Corrections: Last appearance of Roxanne Cabalero as Adrienne Morrow was September 27, 1985. Last appearance of Serge Dupire as Michaud Christophe was October 3, 1985. Felicia wrote a novel titled, "Surrender at Bay," based on Catlin and Sally's love story that was ultimately not published. Michaud's birth name was Albert Gerard. Thank you to Sarah for providing this information as well. Ruben Santiago-Hudson (Captain Billy Cooper, 1990-1993) previously appeared as Gus, a friend of John Hudson's having a drink at Mary's Place on December 22, 1987. Actress Lucy Martin played Alice McKinnon, Jake's mother on August 28, 1986.

August 26, 2024:

• Sad News: Actor John Aprea, who played Lucas (1989-1992; 1993) and Alexander Nikos (1997-1998), died at the age of 83 from natural causes.

• Hi everyone, Eddie here, with a special announcement:

  It was 30 years ago that I cobbled together a web site dedicated to Another World as part of a college course in "hypertext." The following year I added photos and multimedia and called it the "Another World Home Page." Back then HTML was still in its launch version and couldn't even do tables. Web sites were often known as "home pages" back then - a term that quickly fell out of use and seems antiquated now.

  The site continued to plug away for many years researching the show's 8,891 episodes, and enjoyed a resurgence in the early 20-teens with the arrival of Mike McGavin and his seemingly endless supply of drive and enthusiasm.

  There have been costs associated with the site since the beginning, but I've never asked for donations. With the domain's 10-year renewal coming up soon, I thought I'd change that. I've set up a GuFundMe page for donations to help with the costs incurred over the past year. Money is tight these days for everyone, but if you can afford something, that would be appreciated. If nothing else, visit the GFM page to enjoy the new photo of Douglass Watson found in a 1983 photo collection released online late last year.

June 25, 2024:

• The Actor Guide now includes 3,254 entries and links for 768 Wikipedia pages, which encompasses major characters, minor/recurring characters, and day players.
• New Episodes Available on our YouTube Channel. Please note that the Another World Video Collection is no longer available for purchase as we continue to add episodes to our channel for free to AW fans.
• New/Replacement Photos: Chris Pierson, Michael Randolph (Christopher J. Brown), Barbara Weaver (Roberta Maxwell), Willis Frame John (Jerry) Fitzpatrick, Marianne Randolph (Ariana Muenker), Dr. Richard Gavin (William Roerick).
• Other Roles: In a December 12, 1955 article in the Cumberland Evening Times, it states, "TV statisticians say that Constance Ford has been on TV more than any other actress." In tribute to her flair for melodrama, such roles in the industry came to be known as "Connie Ford parts."
  In 1954, Constance Ford played Lynn Sherwood, the lead in the short-lived 15-minute soap opera, "Woman with a Past," which aired on CBS from February 1, 1954, to July 2, 1954. Lynn was a NYC dress designer whose 7-year old daughter Diane was illegitimate. Diane Sherwood was portrayed initially by Felice Camargo (later by Barbara Myers). When Felice was unable to play the role, her real-life sister Victoria Camargo stepped in to play Diane for one day. Years later, Ford and Camargo (now Wyndham) would reunite as mother and daughter Ada and Rachel on "Another World." Photo of Ford from January 20, 1954.

Burt McGowan was first mentioned on August 3, 1973. Wedding of Gil McGowan and Ada Hobson took place on August 16, 1973 (EP. #2301).

March 29, 2024:

• Sad news: Actors Ron Harper (Taylor Halloway, 1980) died on March 21, 2024 at the age of 91 and Jennifer Leak (Olive Randolph, 1976-1979) died at the age of 76.

• Thanks to Texas fan, Chuck Snitchler, for posting a huge collection of full episodes of the series for fans. The daily synopses of Texas are now complete with new synopses written for the December 9-31, 1982 episodes.
• New Freeze Frames from 1982 unearthed for the following dates: January 21, February 5, 12, and 15, and November 18, and 19.
• New photos for the February 1982 location sequence that took place at the Oak Valley Farms Horse Show. It was filmed at "Far West Farms" in Bedford, New York and featured Pete Shea, Diana Frame, Steve Frame, Alice Matthews Frame, and Sally Frame.
• Corrections/New Info: Last appearance of Stephen Bolster as Ted Clark was April 25, 1973. Last appearance of Melissa Needham was February 12, 1982. Actor Frankie Faison originated the role of Captain Hancock in February 1982 prior to Cleavon Little assuming the role. Diana Walker temporarily played the role of Alice Matthews Frame on May 11, 1973 due Jacqueline Courtney's illness. Actress Helen Slater played the role of Suzie in 1982. Suzie was an ex-flame of Pete Shea's who made Diana Frame jealous during the February 1982 location sequence previously mentioned.
